Conference Purpose

The conference explores practical applications of innovative technologies currently in use as well as technologies not yet available, but on the horizon. There are 28 educational workshops in four tracks (Electronic Monitoring, Drug and Alcohol Testing, Information Technology and Management Issues), which will provide attendees with current data on how technology is and can be used to enhance mission performance.

Who Attends This Conference?

300 - 400 professionals from all areas of community corrections including probation, parole, pretrial, treatment providers and work-release programs are expected to attend this conference. Attendees are typically administrators, supervisors and line staff from Federal, State and local agencies with responsibility for and/or strong interest in learning about technology’s role in community corrections. Practitioners from all across the country participate in this conference; last year 38 different states and 2 countries outside the U.S. were represented.

Cost

Cost is $195 per person, and includes continental breakfast Monday—Wednesday, and lunch Monday and Tuesday. Attendees are responsible for all lodging, transportation, parking and other meals not provided during the conference. Deadline to register is May 1, 2008 for early bird rate. After May 1, the rate increases to $225 per person.
