Law Enforcement Demonstration
Processing Form
[Processing
Form]
To download the Law Enforcement Demonstration Processing Form, click on
the link. It is an Adobe Acrobat document that must be printed and filled out by hand. Please complete the form and sign it, as it is
required for our engineers to perform a technology demonstration on your data. Include the form with a COPY of your evidence tape
OR schedule an appointment and accompany the evidence tape to our site so that we may make
a copy in your presence for our processing purposes. Thank you for the opportunity to demonstrate our technologies to you.
Post Technology Demonstration
Processing Form
[Post Analysis Survey]
To continue providing this service at no
charge, it is essential to show time and cost savings resulting from our technology
demonstrations and assistance. We need your
help in order to obtain continued National Institute of Justice (NIJ) funding. Above is a link to our Post Technology
Demonstration Survey. This survey emphasizes
estimating investigative and court cost savings. All feedback is welcome as we strive to
continue to provide the best resource to law enforcement and corrections that we can. Please fax or mail the post analysis survey form to (315) 334-4183, Law
Enforcement Analysis Facility, 1300-B Floyd Avenue, Rome NY 13441-4105 upon receipt of our
final technology report and your copy of the enhanced data. Your help in providing this
information is greatly appreciated and will allow us to expand the technology
demonstrations that we provide to you.
Speaker Identification Sample Sentences
[SID DB Sentences]
These sentences are available for those law
enforcement or correction agencies that are seeking a demonstration of our Speaker
Identification (SID) technology. In order to
perform this demo it is necessary to build a database of known speakers to test against
the known suspect and the unknown speaker. The
optimum demonstration situation occurs if you can record 3+ second samples of known voices
(i.e. 6-10 law enforcement officers that are the same race and gender as the suspect) on the
same recording device as the unknown speaker. Establishing
this analysis environment minimizes all external variables that might influence the
results. The sentences listed in the document above are
suggested content for recording the database of known speakers.
*Please be sure to
refer to The Rules on the How do I Utilize the LEAF? page to verify that you qualify for a technology
demonstration and to ensure that you have met the stipulations required by the LEAF.
